Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff People Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating business priorities into people strategies in a fast-growth environment. This remote role focuses on talent strategy, workforce planning, and employee relations with C-suite influence.

The role requires 10+ years HR, 5–7 years in strategic HRBP, and strong California/federal employment law knowledge. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience
• 5–7 years as a strategic HRBP/People BP
• Experience advising VP/C-suite in a high-growth tech environment
• Expertise in California and federal employment law
• Strong analytical storytelling to influence executives

Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite and VP-level leaders on talent implications.
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning aligned to goals.
• Identify root causes of organizational challenges and design scalable solutions.
• Coach and develop leadership aligned with company values.
• Navigate complex employee relations and build scalable frameworks.
• Present exec-ready people insights shaping business strategy.
• Mentor within the People team to drive consistency across practices.
