Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking aPayroll Coordinator to replace a resigning colleague to maintain essential payroll operations and timely processing across multiple states.

The role involves handling weekly and semi-monthly payroll, resolving complex payroll questions, and ensuring policy compliance while safeguarding confidential information. Responsibilities include data entry, pre-payroll audits, off-cycle payments, and reporting.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Three to five years of payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field experience.
• Three years or more multi-state payroll processing experience required.
• FPC and/or CPP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data to computerized payroll systems to prepare weekly and semi-monthly payroll and runs pre-payroll audit reports.
• Completes payroll processing activities, computes wage and overtime payments, deductions, and off-cycle payments.
• Answers complex payroll questions from employees and management via email and phone.
• Audits earnings/deductions totals and prepares reports for management.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.
• Processes payroll for approximately 5,000 to 7,000 employees across multiple states.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
