Job summary

Kiva.org is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by cultivating donors and donor-advised funds. You will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects, translate Kiva's impact into compelling donor communications, and collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Communications, Product and Engineering to strengthen donor experiences.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or related field.
• Experience cultivating and stewarding individual donors and prospects.
• Experience moving prospects toward meaningful philanthropic commitments.
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds, philanthropic advisors, and major giving.
• Strong writing and editing skills, translating complex programs and impact data into proposals and donor communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored engagement and stewardship plans for mid-level and major donors.
• Develop engagement strategy for donor-advised fund sponsors and philanthropic advisors.
• Partner with colleagues to improve donor communications and website journeys.
• Represent Kiva in donor conversations and pursue thought leadership opportunities.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events to deepen engagement.
