Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by cultivating individual donors and donor-advised funds. You will manage a mid-level donor portfolio, translate Kiva’s impact into compelling opportunities, and collaborate with teams across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Impact to strengthen donor relationships and inquiries.

Qualifications

5 years in nonprofit fundraising or strategic partnerships.
Experience developing donor engagement strategies that move prospects.
Familiarity with donor-advised funds and major giving.
Strong writing and editing skills for proposals and reports.
Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
Comfort using CRM data to track activity and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Manage and cultivate relationships with mid-level and major donors and prospects; develop engagement and stewardship plans.
Develop strategies for donor-advised funds, philanthropic advisors, and gatekeepers.
Collaborate on website journeys, digital communications, and donor offerings.
Represent Kiva in donor discussions; pursue thought leadership through articles and talks.
Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events.
Work with Finance to ensure gift documentation and donor commitments are accurate.
