Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by cultivating donors and engaging philanthropic advisors. You will manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and develop pathways to major gifts, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Product, and impact teams to strengthen donor relationships and donor experiences.

The role emphasizes strong writing, independent work, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or related field.
• Experience developing donor engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds and major giving.
• Strong writing and editing to translate data into proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Comfort using CRM and digital engagement data to track activity.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor engagement plans for mid-level and major gifts.
• Cultivate relationships with mid-level and major donors.
• Engage donor-advised funds and philanthropic advisors.
• Collaborate on website journeys and digital communications.
• Represent Kiva in donor discussions and speak at events.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events.
