Job summary

Kiva.org is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by engaging donors, philanthropic advisors, and donor-advised funds. You will manage mid-level donors and develop pathways to major gifts, translating impact into engagement opportunities.

You will collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Product and Engineering to strengthen donor relationships, craft compelling communications, and produce proposals, reports, and newsletters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or a related field
• Experience developing donor engagement strategies and moving prospects toward meaningful philanthropic commitments
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds, philanthropic advisors, and major giving; experience engaging these audiences is a plus
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex programs and impact data into compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder relationships independently
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce and digital engagement data to track activity, run reports, evaluate results, and refine strategies

Responsibilities

• Develop donor engagement and major gifts pathways, tailoring strategies for mid-level and major-tier donors
• Collaborate with Finance, SP, Marketing, and Product to document gifts, prepare proposals, and craft donor communications
• Plan and deliver donor events and write compelling materials to engage funders and advisors
