Rain is on a mission to scale its agentic commerce ecosystem, partnering with AI-native firms and payment platforms. The Business Development Lead will identify high-value opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and build a robust commercial pipeline.

You will shape Rain’s commercial thesis at the intersection of stablecoins and AI, driving growth across ecosystems and collaborating with Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in business development or strategic partnerships.
• Experience in AI, fintech, payments, or emerging tech.
• Ability to source and close strategic partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with end-to-end opportunity development.
• Strong commercial judgment to identify high-potential opportunities.
• Ability to translate complex tech into commercial value.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ownership and bias toward action in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale Rain's agentic commerce pipeline across AI-native firms.
• Define priority segments, use cases, and target accounts.
• Drive commercial execution and manage a high-quality pipeline.
• Identify emerging trends and translate them into opportunities.
• Own strategic partnerships from outreach to deal execution.
• Build an ecosystem with founders, developers, and industry leaders.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed market insights.
• Shape Rain’s market position in stablecoins and AI-powered commerce.
