Generalist AI in Boston leads the way in embodied AI and robotics partnerships. We seek a Strategic Deals Lead to own structuring, negotiation, and expansion of our most important commercial relationships.

You will work with executive leadership and technical teams to craft creative deal structures that enable deployment of frontier robotics technology. You will negotiate complex terms, collaborate across functions, and drive renewals and expansions, shaping the long-term value of strategic

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of independently structuring, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value technology transactions or strategic partnerships.
• Significant experience negotiating agreements involving novel technologies, non-standard commercial structures, or complex IP and data considerations.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to distinguish between strategically critical issues and negotiable ones.
• Ability to translate complex engineering and product concepts into commercial structures and requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership decisions.
• Ability to operate under pressure and align stakeholders with competing objectives.
• Comfort with a fast-changing environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Responsabilités

• Own the structuring, negotiation, and closing of Generalist’s most complex and strategically important commercial transactions and partnerships.
• Develop creative deal structures for emerging technologies and business models balancing value, feasibility, customer needs, and long-term interests.
• Lead commercial negotiations and work with legal on issues like data-use rights, IP, exclusivity, deployment, and related AI/robotics concepts.
• Collaborate with Applied AI & Partnerships and technical teams to translate product and deployment requirements into deal structures.
• Drive renewals and expansions for major partnerships, identifying opportunities to deepen value.
• Create and share playbooks and negotiation positions to guide leadership and future strategy.
