Job summary

Generalist is seeking a proactive Partnerships professional to manage external relationships and translate complex robotics/AI capabilities into partner value. You will own end-to-end collaboration, align technical teams with business goals, and drive opportunities from initial conversations to concrete outcomes.

You will work across ML/engineering, product, and go-to-market teams in a fast-moving environment, representing Generalist at events and with key partners.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in a highly demanding, high-ownership environment.
• Proven ability to own and drive multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills; able to manage a high volume of parallel conversations and workstreams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong technical curiosity and ability to quickly develop fluency in complex products or technologies.
• High energy, responsiveness, and strong interpersonal skills; enjoys meeting new people and representing technology externally.
• Strong judgment to assess opportunities, prioritize investments of time, and drive conversations to clear next steps.
• High integrity, reliability, and consistent follow-through.
• Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment where priorities may evolve quickly.

Responsibilities

• Partner relationships: Serve as a high-energy contact for prospective partners, communicating Generalist’s technology and vision clearly.
• Technical fluency: Become a super user of Generalist’s models and technology, explaining capabilities and use cases to partners.
• Partnership qualification & development: Evaluate opportunities, understand partner needs, and move relationships toward concrete steps.
• Project management: Own partner initiatives end-to-end with clear workplans, owners, milestones, and timelines.
• Communication & organization: Manage a high volume of partner workstreams and translate technical topics into clear communications.
• Cross-functional coordination: Work with ML/engineering, product, GTM, and leadership to surface needs and decisions.
• Travel & ecosystem engagement: Represent Generalist with partners at events and conferences as needed.
