Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to evangelize cutting-edge products with partners and drive enterprise security solutions. You will join the North America Presales team and work with partner sales and presales to evolve customers' infrastructure using Zero Trust and intelligent network segmentation.

You will build trusted relationships with partners, enable their sales teams, and tailor resources to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, related field or its equivalent.
• Experience in customer facing technical channel sales or presales.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTML, SSL) and ability to present technical topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
• Support channel sales to grow topline revenue through national and regional partners.
• Enable partners to resell and service Akamai's products.
• Customize sales plays, market intelligence and use cases to drive partner opportunities.
• Represent partner needs with product, marketing, services and support teams.
