Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect II for remote-ready delivery from Cambridge, MA area.

You will design and deploy security solutions for large enterprises, leading the planning and integration of Akamai products across diverse environments with automation and configuration tools. You will train customers and stakeholders to maximize value, support post-sales satisfaction, and liaison with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or IT with 2 years of related experience, or 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have hands-on experience in web/API security, DDoS protection, and security configurations per OWASP/PCI-DSS.
• Knowledge of security platforms, SIEMs, and threat monitoring tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deliver security solutions for large enterprise customers.
• Lead installation and integration of products in diverse environments using automation tools.
