Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Food Care Rollstock portfolio within a defined territory. You will identify and close new business opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in packaging or technical sales, with the ability to translate technical benefits into business value and to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in packaging, rollstock, technical sales, business development, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of packaging, rollstock, flexible packaging, or related manufacturing applications.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value for customers.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in Packaging or a related technical discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on net-new business opportunities in Food Care Rollstock.
• Identify, qualify, and develop high-value opportunities across the assigned territory.
• Prospect for new customers and opportunities beyond inbound requests or existing base.
• Own opportunities from prospecting through close, including solution development and negotiation.
• Collaborate with Territory Sales, Marketing, Application Development & Solutions, and Technical Service teams.
• Travel approximately 50% overnight to engage customers and support trials.
