BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Manager for Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead government sector engagements, manage client relationships, and supervise staff. The role covers proposal development, staffing, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across engagements.

The ideal candidate has extensive accounting experience, including government work, along with leadership and advisory skills to guide teams and develop client solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics is required.
• MBA or Masters in Accountancy is preferred.
• Six or more years of accounting experience; four+ years in government accounting preferred.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with outsourced/delivery center operations is preferred.
• CPA certification is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee full life cycle of government finance & accounting engagements.
• Manage client relationships and provide financial management recommendations.
• Develop proposals, staff assignments, and ensure quality of final work products.
• Lead project management, budgeting, and scope definition for engagements.
• Supervise junior staff and foster professional development.
• Contribute to business development and client opportunity identification.
