Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee the full lifecycle of outsourced engagements, including proposal development, staffing, and performance review. You will manage client relationships, present financial analysis, and ensure timely billing while driving project profitability.

The role requires deep knowledge of general ledger processes, accounting systems, and the ability to design integrated finance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics required.
• MBA or other advanced degree (Masters in Accountancy) preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise in all areas of finance and accounting for engagements.
• Performs complete general ledger reconciliation and prepares financial statements; handles bill payments, invoices, payroll, and adjustments.
• Learns client systems and applies technology to engagements; communicates value and ensures efficient use of technology.
• Designs integrated solutions and vets them with leadership for profitability and scope.
• Learns to manage client relationships and supports change management on engagements.
• Oversees engagement budgets, billing, and delivery quality to ensure client satisfaction.
