Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Experienced Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead the full lifecycle of outsourced engagements, from proposal through delivery and billing. You will oversee staff, review work products, and drive portfolio performance while strengthening client relationships.

You will work with Senior Managers to craft solutions, manage projects, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Travel up to 25% may be required as part of client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; or equivalent experience required.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions.
• Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with outsourced and/or delivery center operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full-life cycle of all assigned engagements, providing technical expertise in finance & accounting.
• Oversees client relationships and regularly communicates with clients and staff.
• Provides accurate financial statements and analyses; supports discovery meetings with clients.
• Designs integrated solutions and scope proposals with leadership review.
• Ensures timely billing and revenue recognition per SOW; monitors engagement performance.
• Leads project planning and staffing, and mentors senior associates and staff.
• Supports change management and client communication during business transitions.
• Travels up to 25% as required for client engagements.
