Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee full-life cycle government engagements, supervise staff, review final work products, and ensure portfolio financial performance. The role includes client relationship management, regular client meetings, and providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics is required.
• MBA or Masters in Accountancy is preferred.
• Six or more years of accounting experience required; government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-life cycle of government outsourced finance & accounting engagements.
• Perform GL reconciliation, prepare financial statements, and conduct financial analysis.
• Develop proposals, staff assignments, and oversee engagement profitability and client relationships.
• Mentor and develop staff, and manage change and delivery within engagements.
