Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive incremental sales growth with complex business expansion and new business development. You will manage Pro customer relationships, leverage Salesforce for pipeline planning, and collaborate with the Pro Sales Manager to meet sales and margin targets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in account or sales management, plus 5 years of professional experience, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 2 years of account management or sales management experience.
• 5 years of professional work experience preferred.
• 2+ years in home improvement or home building industry preferred.
• Able to build and cultivate a network of relationships both inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: participate in district/regional meetings; communicate weekly activities with Pro Sales Manager.
• Cultivate Net New Sales Relationships: drive new business, sell all Home Depot Pro products and services, and grow Complex Business expansion.
• Customer Relationship Management: use Salesforce to plan calls and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Sales Prospecting: conduct initial customer meetings, present The Home Depot value proposition, and pursue new business leads.
