Job summary

Belimo in Danbury seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead the Danbury factory spanning manufacturing, logistics and systems teams. You will oversee 200+ employees and report to the Vice President, Logistics/Customization Americas, driving safety, cost efficiency and KPI performance.

You will develop strategies to optimize operations, lead lean initiatives, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless operations and superior customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in operations management, preferably site leadership.
• Background in both manufacturing and logistics environments.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple departments within the factory including assembly/manufacturing, logistics and systems.
• Site responsibility for safety, continuous improvement, and facilities functions.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.
• Foster lean initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and motivate a diverse organization of 200+ individuals with coaching and support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Monitor KPIs to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and allocation of resources.
