Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer focused on lifecycle projects to optimize, standardize, and validate manufacturing processes across the product life cycle. You will bridge product industrialization, equipment engineering, and operations to ensure clean, scalable, and compliant processes.

The role emphasizes process validation, PFMEA, control plans, and process documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production) or similar.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering or industrialization.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans and process validation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and related tools.
• Willingness to travel globally (≈10%).
• Excellent English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end standardization and optimization of manufacturing processes across the product life cycle.
• Lead process improvement as part of CI efforts representing production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, IT and Operations.
• Revise process requirements and architectural drivers to improve product engineering.
• Create technical line layouts and contribute to risk analyses (P-FMEA).
• Own implementation and validation of manufacturing processes; run pilot runs.
• Monitor uptime, yield, SPC and cost of production.
