Job summary

Omya is seeking a field sales professional to manage the Western US region in the food and nutraceutical sector. You will build strong customer relationships, drive sales plans, and report on progress with the sales leadership.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science, with 5+ years in nutraceuticals/food sales. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually and the work location is flexible, with limits on CO or MA remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Science disciplines and 5+ years in nutraceuticals/food industry.
• Proven ability to persuade, present effectively, and produce professional written materials.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills; excellent interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans for territory including accounts, volumes, pricing and budgeting.
• Coordinate pricing strategy with internal teams.
• Provide written reports on accounts and planned actions.
• Conduct market analysis to support company objectives.
• Communicate regularly with Sales Managers and Directors.
• Identify and develop new markets and applications.
• Manage account interface and leads pipeline.
• Create and follow opportunity pipelines for the territory.
• Relay market information to enable new products and info.
• Visit customers regularly to build relationships.
• Conclude negotiations as directed.
• Provide technical customer assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with local sales team and seek input from superiors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
