Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department in Oceanside, CA. You will align staffing with budget and census and support the DNS as directed by facility administration.

Responsibilities include maintaining phone lists, scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting to the Director of Nursing Services. Strong organization and communication skills are essential to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• As Staffing Coordinator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers and update managers’ numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars and report excess tardiness or absenteeism to the DNS.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling with the DNS and HR as needed.
• Prepare monthly nursing schedules and ensure coverage of units.
• Assist with maintaining records of staffing and attend committee meetings as required.
