Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing for the facility's nursing department in alignment with budget and census targets, under the direction of facility administration.

The role involves maintaining attendance and scheduling records, coordinating interviews, and assisting the DNS and Human Resources with staffing decisions while upholding confidentiality and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars and nursing schedules.
• Coordinate interviews and assist HR with staffing needs.
• Report staffing issues and recommendations to the DNS.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee records and use of access controls.
