Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing aligned with budget and census targets. You will collaborate with the DNS and HR to schedule staff, maintain records, and ensure timely posting of schedules for departments.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent English communication, and a patient, team-oriented approach. This on-site position supports facility operations and staff development within a post-acute care network.

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families and the public.
• Patience, tact, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and scheduling for the nursing department.
• Maintain employee records, attendance and time cards.
• Assist with interviewing CNAs and orientation processes.
• Prepare reports and communicate staffing needs to the DNS.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and PHI.
