Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals in Cincinnati seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive product promotion with psychiatrists and CNS specialists in the territory. You will implement sales strategies, build key relationships, monitor market dynamics, and support access and reimbursement efforts.

BS or BA with GPA >3.0 and at least 3 years pharma sales experience are preferred. A valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and a strong hunter mentality with excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA >3.0.
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience required (associate role if not).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Must reside within territory geography and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy.
• Analyze local market to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time) within territory.
• Communicate effectively with identified target audiences using advanced selling skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels for product access and reimbursement.
• Manage travel and promotional budget; complete call reporting and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Vanda Policies.
