Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals in the United States seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager to drive product promotion and exceed territory goals. You will partner with the District Sales Manager to execute the sales strategy, analyze markets, and strengthen clinical and payor partnerships.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Existing relationships with psychiatrists and community mental health centers within territory are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, disease areas, and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time) within territory.
• Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels; secure product access and reimbursement.
• Manage travel and promotional budget and ensure compliant reporting.
