Meta seeks a strategic ENS Network Engineer Leader to guide global subsea and data center operations, driving efficiency, reliability, and risk management through process and system improvements. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape roadmaps, and mentor engineers while collaborating with partners worldwide.

You will influence standards, champion automation, and translate complex challenges into scalable, cost-effective solutions, contributing to Meta's rapidly growing infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years global network/infra operations experience.
• Experience with QA across logical and physical delivery and knowledge of data center infra.
• 5+ years partnering with vendors to translate issues into improvements.
• Experience leading operational teams and cross-functional partners.
• Experience defining metrics and KPIs for operational services.
• Experience with supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in Python/Go/JavaScript or similar languages to automate tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects and programs in a matrix organization.
• Own organizational roadmap and strategy to deliver business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and managers on the team.
• Investigate complex incidents and escalations; drive resolution with partners and vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation, including AI-enabled solutions.
• Align with internal partners and external vendors to meet global needs.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions across edge and backbone architectures.
• Represent the organization in dealings with third parties such as hardware and service partners.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and provisioning workflows.
• Travel up to 15% internationally and domestically.
