Job summary

Meta is seeking a strategic leader for the Edge and Network Services (ENS) organization to drive operational execution at global scale. You will guide cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and risk management through process, systems, and data.

This role shapes the design, deployment, and operation of Meta's subsea and global infrastructure, with a focus on driving measurable improvements and scalable partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in global network/infrastructure operations, deployment, design/engineering and/or support.
• Experience with large-scale QA and physical infrastructure components.
• 5+ years partnering with enterprise/service-provider vendors to translate issues into improvements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate strategy into outcomes.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration across global teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution plans, guardrails, and ownership across indirect teams.
• Lead cross-functional infrastructure programs spanning data centers and networks.
• Own organizational roadmap and strategy to deliver business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and managers on the team.
• Investigate incidents with cross-functional partners to prevent recurrence.
• Lead automation initiatives and AI-enabled tooling in partnership with teams.
• Define metrics and monitor vendor performance for reliable operations.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors across global sites.
• Lead root-cause analysis to resolve issues in edge and backbone architectures.
• Represent the org in engagements with hardware, colocation, and MSPs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to guide operations.
• Create and enforce SOPs, runbooks, and provisioning workflows.
