Job summary

Meta is seeking a forward-thinking ENS Strategic Lead to drive cross-functional operational execution for subsea and global infrastructure. You will own roadmaps, mentor teams, manage incidents, and partner with vendors to improve reliability at scale.

You will lead initiatives across data centers, network production, and security/compliance programs, shaping automation and AI-enabled tooling while delivering measurable outcomes and strong business value for Meta's global network.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of global network/infrastructure operations, deployment, design/engineering, or support experience.
Experience with at-scale QA across logical and physical delivery defects and infrastructure details.
5+ years of partnering with enterprise and service-provider vendors to translate performance issues into improvement plans.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
Experience collaborating across a global team with cross-functional partners and vendor teams.
Experience identifying metrics/SLA/KPIs to evaluate success and business impact.
Experience with end-to-end supplier management and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of coding and automation in Python/Go/JavaScript with AI tool integration.

Responsibilities

Execution enablement and resource modeling across indirect teams to optimize delivery.
Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects across data center, production network, and more.
Own organizational roadmap planning and strategy to deliver business outcomes.
Mentor engineers and people managers on the team.
Investigate complex incidents and partner with vendors to drive resolution and prevent recurrence.
Drive automation to improve operations and enable AI-enabled tooling.
Define and report metrics across the organization for ROI and reliability.
Collaborate with internal partners and vendors across global sites.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for network and infrastructure issues.
Represent the organization in interactions with hardware, colocation, and service partners.
Communicate with teams and stakeholders to drive operational development and management.
Create and enforce SOPs, runbooks, and delivery workflows.
