Job summary

Meta is seeking a forward-thinking leader to drive operational execution within the Edge and Network Services (ENS) organization. You will guide cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and risk management through processes, systems, and data at global scale.

You will own and shape cross-team alignment to deliver Meta's next-generation infrastructure, including subsea operations, reliability improvements, and AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in global network or infrastructure operations, deployment, design/engineering or support teams.
• 5+ years partnering with enterprise and service-provider vendors to translate performance issues into improvement plans.
• Experience leading operational teams by setting priorities and translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
• Collaborating across a global team with cross-functional partners at all levels including vendors and managers.
• Experience identifying metrics/SLA/KPIs to evaluate service impact and business outcomes.
• Experience with purchasing, negotiating and end-to-end supplier management, RFPs and contracts.
• Knowledge of coding and automating with Python, Go or JavaScript to build AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Execution Enablement: structure teams and guardrails to deliver business outcomes.
• Project Leadership: lead cross-functional infrastructure programs across data centers, networks, and logistics.
• Roadmap Ownership and Strategy: own planning and execution of organizational roadmaps.
• Mentorship: coach engineers and people managers in the team.
• Incident and Escalation Management: drive resolution across ENS during major incidents.
• Strategic Automation Leadership: identify automation opportunities and implement lightweight solutions.
• Data Measurement: align metrics to focus on high-ROI operational areas.
• Collaboration and Partnership: align with internal partners and vendors across global sites.
• Technical Leadership: lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions for edge/backbone environments.
• Business Ownership: interact with hardware, colocation, telecom, and MSP partners.
• Communication: convey plans and results across teams and stakeholders.
• Standards Management: maintain SOPs, runbooks, and provisioning workflows.
• Vendor/MSP performance: assess and manage vendor performance for reliability.
• Travel: international/domestic travel up to 15%.
