Blue Origin seeks an experienced national security acquisition professional to drive strategy and revenue within the U.S. defense and intelligence sectors.

You will lead engagement with military and intelligence customers to address secure communications and global connectivity requirements for space-based solutions. Responsibilities include developing annual sales plans, nurturing key relationships, and guiding proposals through complex government procurement processes while traveling up to 30%

Qualifications

• 10+ years in defense/intelligence technology sales with 5+ years in leadership
• Active TS//SCI clearance required
• Experience with government contracting and federal acquisition regulations
• Knowledge of defense acquisition processes and procurement cycles
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to government sites and partner locations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting defense and intelligence government customers
• Establish relationships with key decision makers in government agencies and prime contractors
• Create value propositions addressing resilient space-based communications and global coverage
• Lead proposal and capture teams through government procurement processes
• Collaborate with product management to align roadmap with security requirements
• Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and compliance
