Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced leader to own and drive capture and pursuit of U.S. Government space-related opportunities, including DoD and IC programs.

The role requires communicating with executives and external stakeholders, developing compelling proposals, and coordinating across technical and program teams to shape Blue Origin’s national security strategy. The position requires a TS/SCI with SSBI and polygraph, 40% travel readiness, and on-site work in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, and at least one degree in a technical field.
• 7+ years of proven experience on U.S. Government space-related activities and programs.
• Excellent communicator, both oral and written, with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences and at executive levels.
• Government contracting experience, including knowledge of contract management, source selection processes, and proposal evaluations.
• Experience developing and implementing capture management strategies for U.S. Government programs.
• Proven organizational skills for tracking customers, compiling proposals, and meeting deadlines.
• Active Top Secret (TS) / SCI security clearance with SSBI and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of capture strategy and lead campaign teams for USG programs and opportunities.
• Lead development and writing of comprehensive proposals and RFIs.
• Track USG programs of interest including budget, Congressional actions, industry participation, and technical requirements.
• Represent Blue Origin in national security forums.
• Assess competitor capabilities and offerings with Strategy and Corporate Development teams.
• Develop Blue Origin positions on issues and communicate with Congressional and USG offices.
• Engage with government and industry customers to build and maintain relationships.
• Translate complex technical matters for broader audiences and align with national security objectives.
