Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced national security acquisition professional to drive strategy and revenue growth in defense/intelligence sectors. You will lead engagements with government agencies and prime contractors to address secure communications and global connectivity needs.

The role involves developing annual sales plans, coordinating with product management, and leading proposals through government processes. A TS/SCI clearance and 10+ years in defense sales are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in defense/intelligence technology sales with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record selling complex solutions to government agencies or as part of prime contractor teams.
• Active TS//SCI clearance required.
• Deep understanding of defense acquisition processes, funding mechanisms, and procurement cycles.
• Experience with government contracting, procurement vehicles, and federal acquisition regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting defense and intelligence government customers.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision makers in government agencies and prime contractors.
• Create compelling value propositions addressing resilient space-based communications and global coverage.
• Identify how advanced connectivity solutions address limitations in existing government networks.
• Develop annual sales plans with account strategies, pipeline forecasts, and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with product management to align technology roadmap with national security requirements.
• Lead proposal and capture teams through government procurement processes.
• Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and compliance requirements.
