Blue Origin in El Segundo, CA is seeking an experienced national security acquisition professional to drive strategy and revenue growth within the U.S. defense and intelligence sectors.

The role leads engagement with government agencies and prime contractors to address secure communications and global connectivity requirements through Blue Origin's solutions. The position offers the opportunity to advance national security capabilities at the intersection of space technology and next-generation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of defense/intelligence technology sales with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record selling complex solutions to government agencies or prime contractors.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Deep understanding of defense acquisition processes, funding mechanisms, and procurement cycles.
• Experience with terrestrial government communication networks and related limitations.
• Experience with government contracting, procurement vehicles, and FAR/DFARS rules.
• Strong consultative sales and solution-selling background.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and mission-focused audiences.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to government sites and partner locations.

Responsabilités

• Identify how advanced connectivity solutions address terrestrial government network limitations.
• Develop annual sales plans with detailed account strategies, pipeline forecasts, and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with product management to align technology roadmap with national security requirements.
• Lead proposal and capture teams to navigate government procurement vehicles and acquisition processes.
• Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and compliance requirements.
• Drive commercial-based solutions to meet government needs.
