Job summary

Weyerhaeuser seeks a strategic account leader to drive value creation with national builder and distributor customers, serving as the primary interface and executive liaison. The role requires 40–50% travel and a track record in building materials/customer-facing leadership.

You will lead negotiations, develop proposals, and collaborate with Marketing and Sales to align industry and regional goals. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• HS/GED and 10+ years directly related experience OR 4-year degree and 6+ years in a wood products or building materials customer facing position
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be required or preferred
• Proven ability to negotiate, present and influence at executive levels

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Forecasts and tracks key account metrics and clearly communicates results and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaboratively develops business proposals and contracts; leads negotiations and communications around proposals.
• Identifies opportunities to leverage WY solutions to benefit customers and partners with Strategic Marketing and WP Sales teams.
• Partners with sales leaders to implement strategies and support in-market activities.
• Acts as single point of contact to resolve customer requests and escalate issues as needed.

Education
