Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a senior Strategic Account leader who interfaces with national builders, wood products dealers, and home improvement retailers. The role drives value creation by aligning strengths with marketing and customer service initiatives, and by negotiating contracts at the executive level.

The position requires substantial travel (40-50%), deep market knowledge of wood products, and strong leadership in multi-stakeholder negotiations.

Qualifications

• HS/GED with 10+ years related experience or a 4-year degree with 6+ years in a wood products or building materials role.
• Experience interfacing with national level customers and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, connecting with key executives and stakeholders.
• Leads corporate-level discussions and consultative sales activities to drive value.
• Forecasts and communicates account performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Leads negotiations, analysis, and proposal communications.
• Searches for opportunities to apply WY solutions to benefit customers; collaborates with marketing and sales to define goals.
• Supports in-market activities and serves as single point of contact to resolve requests efficiently.
