Job summary

Weyerhaeuser seeks a strategic account leader to manage top national customers and coordinate with builder/dealer networks. You will drive value creation, shape marketing and service initiatives, and serve as the primary interface to enterprise accounts.

You will travel 40-50% of the time and work with executive-level stakeholders to align joint strategies, negotiate contracts, and grow profitability across Wood Products.

Qualifications

• HS/GED and 10+ years directly related experience OR 4-year degree and 6+ in a wood products or building materials (or closely related industry) customer facing position

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Leads discussions at the corporate level in a dynamic consultative sales environment based on trust, integrity, continuous learning, and teamwork.
• Provides leadership and insight into account performance across the Wood Products businesses; forecasts and tracks key metrics and communicates results.
• Collaboratively develops business proposals and contracts; leads negotiations, analysis, and communications around proposals.
• Proactively searches for opportunities to use WY solutions to benefit customers; partners with Strategic Marketing and WP Sales teams to define goals and opportunities.
• collaborates with sales leaders to support implementation of strategies and in-market activities; serves as single point of contact for customer requests.
