Cogent Communications is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to grow our Mid Market and National accounts. You will identify new business opportunities, qualify prospects, and drive revenue through direct calling, email outreach, and field activities in key national markets.

This in-office role emphasizes mentorship, structured tenure-based pay, and performance-based raises. The ideal candidate has a proven sales track record, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CRM and MS

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a track record of success is required.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through prospecting and research.
• Strong oral and written communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed regional sales territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities by direct calling, email, and other contact efforts.
• Complement prospecting with field activities and meetings with decision makers.
• Position Cogent services for new connectivity solutions and revenue growth.
• Help Cogent meet monthly revenue goals in large commercial buildings and campuses.
