Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of sales experience required.
• 2+ years of Mortgage origination experience preferred.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act required upon employment.
• Knowledge of mortgage laws and procedures and related regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsibilities

• Originate portfolio loans and participate in secondary market activities (conventional, FHA, VA, RD) in compliance with investor guidelines and laws.
• Promote bank products and services to clients in the community and develop referral networks.
• Maintain a clean loan pipeline; coordinate with processors, underwriters and closers.
• Provide expert mortgage advice and inform applicants of closing costs and status.
• Ensure timely delivery of disclosures and closing documents.
