Hancock Whitney is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate portfolio loans including conventional, FHA, VA, and RD. The role emphasizes compliance with investor requirements and state/federal laws, while promoting bank products and services to clients in the community.

The successful candidate will manage a loan pipeline, work with processors and underwriters, and stay current with underwriting guidelines and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience required.
• 2+ years of Mortgage origination experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Mortgage laws, procedures, rules, regulations, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert mortgage advice to potential borrowers.
• Develops and maintains referral networks with Realtors, builders, and others in the community.
• Manages a clean pipeline of loans in process with processors, underwriters and closers.
• Delivers all compliance documents and disclosures in a timely manner.
