Abbott is seeking a Molecular Account Executive for a US remote field-based role within the Molecular Diagnostic Division. You will drive exponential growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts across hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and women’s health offices.

The position requires engaging C-suite stakeholders, traveling up to 75%, and residing in the territory (Minneapolis, MN preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales, account management, or related business experience.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a professional presence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage change, champion innovation, and drive new ideas.
• Strong business planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple stakeholders, including C-suite, to expedite complex decisions and quick wins.
• Drive market share growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the territory.
• Develop and deploy best practices leveraging customer insights to exceed business expectations.
• Prioritize and plan effectively to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver win-win solutions.
• Manage renewals to ensure customer retention and satisfaction for non-enterprise accounts.
