Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planning Project Manager to oversee DoD/DoW planning efforts, from pursuit to delivery, ensuring milestones and budgets are met. You will supervise planners, analysts, and engineers, facilitate workshops, and manage risks and finances.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of related experience, 2+ years of project management, and DoD clearance eligibility. HDR offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and communicate effectively.
• DoD security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of military planners, analysts, production coordinators, editors, GIS / CAD specialists and other disciplines.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and train team members for current and future needs.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders.
• Conduct in-briefs and out-briefs with leadership on site visits and milestones.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to align deliverables with contract scopes and standards.
• Manage project finances and conduct internal reviews with leadership.
• Lead project status meetings with client managers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare fee proposals and technical narratives for new contracts; assess risks and mitigate.
• Assist with client development plans and business development activities.
