Job summary

New World Van Lines seeks a strategic OA/DA Military Move Specialist Manager to lead our Origin Agent and Destination Agent logistics teams. You will oversee high-volume military moves, coordinate with brokers and internal teams, and ensure top-tier relocation services for service members.

You will supervise a small team, manage bid boards, ensure compliance, and support non-military moves as needed. Strong HHG experience required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Managerial experience: 3–5 years overseeing staff.
• Moving experience: 3+ years in moving/relocation customer service and operations; HHG strongly preferred.
• Industry knowledge: OA/DA processes, high-volume moves, military broker networks.
• Leadership: ability to manage a small team and delegate effectively.
• Decision quality, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Bid & Board Management: monitor and manage move opportunities on third-party boards.
• Logistics Coordination: oversee end-to-end HHG moves across military and non-military moves.
• Team Management: supervise and develop coordinators; set expectations and provide coaching.
• Vendor & Broker Relations: partner with brokers and vendors to ensure seamless service.
• Quality Assurance & Billing: ensure documentation accuracy for billing and close-outs.
• Non-Military Move Support: perform non-military duties to support NWVL partners.
