Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Merchant Services Sales professional in Washington, DC to identify and develop sales opportunities within an assigned market. You will deliver a consultative approach, assessing clients’ payment processing needs and delivering comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities include executing the sales plan, building partnerships, and collaborating with bankers and product partners to drive revenue growth. Ability to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in financial or payments products.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively.
• Experience working across departments in large financial organizations.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Executes sales plan and develops partnerships to identify and drive client opportunities.
• Fosters relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic planning.
• Sell payment processing solutions to clients and prospects with market engagement.
• Develops relationship plans to identify retention and new acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services focused on receivables.
• Escalates issues and risks to leadership as needed.
• Consults with clients via in-person, email, voicemail, or virtual meetings.
• Reports accurately on sales efforts and revenue progress.
