Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Merchant Services sales professional to identify and develop opportunities in an assigned market. You will deliver a consultative approach helping business clients assess payment processing needs and provide tailored solutions.

Collaborate with bankers and product partners, drive new business development, and maintain accurate reporting of sales activities and revenue. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience of financial or payments products and/or services.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.
• Proven experience working across departments within large financial organizations.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop Merchant Services sales opportunities in an assigned market.
• Deliver consultative sales approach by helping clients assess payment processing needs and delivering solutions.
• Collaborate with bankers and product partners on opportunities and strategic client planning.
• Develop relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services and receivables solutions.
• Accurately report sales efforts, progression, and revenue.
