Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular, Sales Specialist to identify and develop Merchant Services sales opportunities within a specialized market. The role requires a consultative sales approach to help business clients assess their payment processing needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in financial or payments products and/or services.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.
• Proven experience working across departments and lines of business within large financial organizations.
• Growth mindset to adapt and resolve complex issues.
• Mentor teammates to help them grow within their roles.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sales plan and develop strong partnerships to identify and drive client sales opportunities.
• Foster relationships with bankers, product partners and other stakeholders for strategic planning.
• Sell payment processing solutions to existing clients and prospects.
• Develop relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services and receivables solutions.
• Adhere to policies and raise issues and risks to leadership.
• Consult with clients via in-person, email, voicemail or virtual meetings.
• Report on sales efforts, progress and revenue.
