Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is hiring for a Merchant Services sales role in Nashville. The position entails identifying and developing sales opportunities, delivering consultative payment processing solutions, and partnering with bankers and product teams to drive revenue and growth across a specialized client base.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of payments sales experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience of financial or payments products and/or services.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.
• Proven experience working across departments within large financial organizations.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Executes sales plan and develops partnerships to identify and drive client opportunities to achieve revenue and portfolio growth.
• Fosters relationships with bankers and product partners to collaborate on opportunities and engage in strategic client planning.
• Focus on new business development by selling payment processing solutions to existing clients and prospects.
• Develops detailed relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services and solutions focused on receivables.
• Escalates issues and risks to leadership when needed.
• Communicates through in-person, email, voicemail, or virtual meetings to consult with clients.
• Reports on sales efforts, progression, and revenue.
