Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Sales Executive Senior - Merchant Mid Market to drive new business and deepen relationships with mid-size merchants. You will lead strategic deals, engage with owners and C-suite executives, and collaborate with Commercial Bank partners to energize momentum.

This role requires 6+ years in merchant sales, deep payments knowledge, and a proven record of exceeding targets. Travel within the territory is expected as you expand local market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of Merchant Sales Experience required.
• Deep knowledge of the payments industry, Interchange, and gateway connectivity.
• Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables and Receivables a plus.
• Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a bonus.
• 10 years of sales experience with solution selling to Commercial/Mid-Market/Enterprise.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets with a data-driven mindset.
• Strong partner relationship building and territory development skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives new business growth and profitability in existing accounts by spotting high-impact opportunities.
• Serve as strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives.
• Builds and energizes a referral network with Commercial Bank partners.
• Manage pipeline through referrals and COI leads.
• Partner with partner sales teams to expand customer relationships.
• Deliver persuasive, value-driven presentations to meet client needs.
• Travel within territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign new local businesses.
