Job summary

ColonialWebb in Richmond, VA seeks an Account Manager with a mechanical background or skilled trades. You will understand HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and support sales and operations for service projects and service agreements.

Ideal candidates will have experience with MS Office and CRM systems, and a commitment to learning in a fast-paced environment while interacting with many team members and clients.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or 2+ years mechanical experience (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
• Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, CRM systems and Internet use.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and operations for Service Project and Service Agreement opportunities.
• Perform estimating activities for commercial mechanical service projects (replacements, retrofits, installations).
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and grow those relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and how our services may fit their needs.
• Analyze and make recommendations on modifying and repositioning renewal agreements.
