Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a Material Program Manager to lead material strategy and IPT collaboration with focus on MRP processes and procurement planning.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience with MRP systems: SAP, PRISM or Kinaxis.
• Budgeting, EV management, R&O, AOP and proposals.
• Strong communication and leadership in IPT environments.
• Self-starter with broad interfacing across management and suppliers.
• Thrives in high-stress, fast-paced settings.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with IPT leadership on material strategy execution.
• Communicate and translate customer and product requirements to suppliers.
• Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
• Review SCM metrics.
• Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT reviews, including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
• Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet AOP and program responsibilities; proactively manage mitigation plans.
• Manage budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the EAC process.
• Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP).
• Obtain MPM certification within one year of hire.
