Job summary

Raytheon Company is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology Team in Tucson, AZ. This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities include developing Material Program Plans, supplier management, and supporting Make/Buy decisions. You will lead RFIs, RFPs, and SSOWs, manage BOM approvals, and drive PO processes while ensuring supplier performance through formal reviews.

Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Planning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting the Make/Buy/Where process.
• Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow‑Downs and obtaining any required Attachments or Modifications.
• Assisting with generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
• Generating RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluating supplier proposals/quotes.
• Leading proposal activities and BOM approvals.
• Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
• Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure performance.
• Referencing applicable policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks.
